The XVII work of the LICHTGESTALT series shows the asana Ustrasana, also known as the camel.

The camel is one of the asanas that the artist likes to practice least of all asanas known to her in yoga practice. Following the statement of her yoga teacher that it is precisely the exercises that one dislikes, that the body needs most, she practices the camel regularly and as a work of art she loves the asana.

This asana opens the heart chakra and stretches the front of the body, which can lead to a feeling of freedom and letting go. The camel can help relieve tension and stress in the back and shoulders, which can have a positive effect on mental relaxation.

The deep camel backbend can also help balance energy in the body and release blocked emotions. This can have a liberating and clarifying effect, which can improve mood. At the same time, the camel requires courage and trust, as you bend far back and lean your head back. This can boost self-confidence and reduce anxiety.

Overall, the camel asana helps promote a positive and open mind by balancing the energy in the body, releasing tension and opening the heart chakra. It conveys a feeling of freedom, trust and mental clarity.

Important Information About My Art

Gerhard H. Germany

I purchased one of Karin's first paintings a few years ago. It was a portrait that immediately spoke to me and captivated me. Since then, more of Karin's works have found a place in our home. I think it's great that she experiments, evolves her art, and thus stands out from other artists. With her special works from the HUMAN STRIPES series, she has definitely hit the mark. Keep it up and good luck 👍🍀
