The XIII work of the LICHTGESTALT series shows the Chakrasana, the wheel.

Holding the bike requires courage and trust in your own strength and abilities. Regular practice of chakrasana can boost self-awareness and self-confidence as one learns to embrace life's challenges and overcome obstacles with confidence.

While performing chakrasana, it takes focus, concentration and mindfulness to perform the pose correctly and to be aware of the body. This can lead to improved presence in the moment and increased awareness of one's body, thoughts and emotions.

The artist Karin Döring has been practicing yoga for many years. The combination of relaxation and self-reflection and her daily artistic work in the studio are absolutely essential for her. New ideas often come from pausing and letting go. This is how the idea for the LICHTGESTALT series came about while practicing yoga. Obvious actually.

Important Information About My Art

Gerhard H. Germany

I purchased one of Karin's first paintings a few years ago. It was a portrait that immediately spoke to me and captivated me. Since then, more of Karin's works have found a place in our home. I think it's great that she experiments, evolves her art, and thus stands out from other artists. With her special works from the HUMAN STRIPES series, she has definitely hit the mark. Keep it up and good luck 👍🍀
