In HEIMAT 2.0 the artist shows the portrait of a woman with a "Bollenhut", which is native to the Black Forest, on an abstract background. The woman is painted black and white but recognizable in colour. The context of the play on words that describes the image of Heimat with the Black Forest was deliberately chosen. The word HEIMAT is stamped into the picture, the painting itself is worked with acrylic using the spatula technique and supplemented with silver leaf.
